BoschDoc
BoschDoc is een online database waarin het bronmateriaal over de Bossche schilder Jheronimus Bosch ontsloten is. Niet alleen de bronnen waarin hijzelf genoemd wordt zijn opgenomen, maar ook bronnen met informatie over zijn directe omgeving, familieleden, opdrachtgevers en werken. Het gaat voornamelijk om geschreven documenten, maar ook enkele oude drukken, daterend van voor 1800, zijn opgenomen in BoschDoc.
BoschDoc is een onderdeel van het Bosch Research and Conservation Project en is gerealiseerd in het kader van het 500ste sterfjaar van Jheronimus Bosch (ca. 1450 – 1516). Het project is mede mogelijk gemaakt door de Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, het Stadsarchief ’s-Hertogenbosch en het Huygens Instituut voor Nederlandse geschiedenis.
De inhoud van BoschDoc is grotendeels gebaseerd op referenties in eerder verschenen publicaties. Deze referenties zijn nagezocht, uitgebreid en waar nodig geactualiseerd en / of gecorrigeerd. De publicaties waarin naar bepaalde documenten verwezen wordt, zijn vermeld onder het tabblad “opmerkingen en verwijzingen”.

BoschDoc is an online database containing source material on the ’s-Hertogenbosch painter Hieronymus Bosch. Not only the sources in which he himself is mentioned are included, but also sources giving information about his immediate surroundings, members of his family, patrons and works. These are chiefly handwritten documents, but also a number of early printed works, dating from before 1800 are included in BoschDoc.
BoschDoc is part of the Bosch Research and Conservation Project and has been carried out in the framework of the 500th anniversary of the death of Hieronymus Bosch (c. 1450 – 1516). The project has been made possible by the Radboud University Nijmegen, the City Archives of ’s-Hertogenbosch and the Huygens ING.
The content of BoschDoc is largely based on references in other publications. These references have been traced, expanded and if necessary updated and/or corrected. The publications containing the references are credited under the tab “Comments & References”.

BoschDoc es un banco de datos en línea que da acceso a las fuentes documentales sobre el pintor de Bolduque (‘s Hertogenbosch), Hieronymus Bosch, El Bosco. No sólo se incluyen las fuentes en que se menciona al pintor mismo, sino también figuran las que contienen información acerca de su entorno, sus familiares, los comitentes y sus obras. Principalmente se trata de documentos manuscritos, pero además BoschDoc incluye impresos antiguos de fechas anteriores a 1800.
BoschDoc forma parte del Bosch Research and Conservation Project (Proyecto de Investigación y Conservación sobre Bosch) y se realizó en el marco del 500 aniversario del fallecimiento de Hieronymus Bosch (hacia 1450 – 1516). En este proyecto han participado la Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, el archivo municipal de ’s-Hertogenbosch (Bolduque) y el instituto para la historia neerlandesa, Huygens ING.
El contenido de BoschDoc se basa principalmente en referencias procedentes de publicaciones anteriores. Éstas han sido verificadas, ampliadas, y en caso necesario, actualizadas o corregidas. Las publicaciones que contienen las dichas referencias figuran bajo el campo “Comentarios y referencias”.
